Do your body good by exercising and playing in your community pool!

Come out and play in the pool before summer is over!

Swimming is one of the best cardiovascular exercises you can do for your body. It exercises just about every muscle in your body and you don’t have to worry about putting unnecessary stress on your joints due to impact (like running does). You can swim laps or do other exercises that will help increase mobility, circulation and lung capacity. Swimmers of all ages can reap the benefits because swimming is a lifetime sport. Get your friends together and host an exercise class or hold races. Even if you only want to do a few pool side exercises on your own, you can’t go wrong. Children simply playing in the water will definitely burn more calories than sitting in front of the television playing games or walking around outside. Little swimmers have proved to score higher on problem solving tests and learn to become self-reliant quicker than those not in a swimming program.

    G’Day! Preservedunwoody,
On a similar note,, I’ve always wanted to wear a bikini to the beach and have a slim body. Right now I’m sitting at 146 and my height 5 5 and I want to lose about 15 pounds before July 1st. I’m fourteen and I carry most of my weight on my stomach and thighs. I don’t play a lot of sports and all the signs up are done at school and for community stuff. I’m not much of a runner. What are some things I can do to shred the pounds. I know a balanced diet and exercise are the key to losing.
I look forward to your next post
